The development of an identity for a business operating in a medical field is very important, it needs to convey trust, competency and professionalism, to reflect this we had to pay special attention to the shapes used for the logo, upon viewing the design you instantly know the field in which Sentinel operate with the cross sign, This cross sign is the most recognisable symbol within medicine. The symbol originated from the Geneva Convention, in 1864 with the Red Cross.
To make the shape unique to Sentinel the shape also incorporates a map and the moving from a to b across a line with dots to show the transportation side of this brand
The typography is bold and visible allowing for easy identification and the colour palette reflects the nature of the business. The design achieves the aforementioned remit.
The website takes many of its design queues from the Sentinel identity. It’s bold and clear, information is easy to find and read, utilising a rounded aesthetic we are able to convey a friendly but professional nature. Again the colour pallet is informed by the ID, it is important that the brand is reflected across all media (for consistency).
The website is responsive as standard, it’s just as easy to use on a mobile phone as it is on a laptop of PC.
The relationship between Zeal and the team behind Sentinel goes back many, many years. We supply all design work for the businesses underneath the Totem Global Group (TGG) umbrella.
