Nestled in the beautiful foothills of Snowdonia, North Wales. Our multi award-winning beers are brewed with love and passion using entirely UK malted barley and water from the hills of Snowdonia.
They have a wide range of core beers from Dark side of the moose to Elderflower ale to Craft ale like Chocolate moose and Mwsh.
Since its launch in 2005, Purple Moose Brewery (Bragdy Mws Piws) has been instrumental in putting north Wales’ brewing industry on the map.
They now have a brewery shop opened to the public and a pub selling Purple Moose on tap.
Firstly we were commissioned by the brewery to develop a new identity for these new modern craft beers. The new range is fresh and has bags of attitude! The first port of call was good old pen and paper, we drew ‘lots’ of animated versions of the Purple Moose, all different shapes and sizes and all with different attitudes!
Throughout this process we were always consulting with the brewery to ensure that the look and feel was correct for their new venture. Many drawings later we settled on a winner, the drawing depicts a Moose punching through the page, he is a bit grizzly looking and ready for action – perfect! After we had got the shapes down we took the drawing into illustrator and digitised it, then started to produce the new look and feel logo, the end product is a bespoke character with tonnes of movement and attitude, perfect for modern tasty craft beer.

The team at Purple Moose realised that their website needed a refresh, it needed to look great and work flawlessly with a focus on marketing in order to convert visitors into customers. Their branding was complete, but their online presence didn’t do them justice. They needed somewhere for their customers to visit and purchase easily online.
Our team worked on wire-frames and then full visuals for the new eCommerce website before our developers began coding and testing. We’ve kept page-load speeds and website size to a minimum throughout, with a persistent focus on flawless user experience using gorgeous hand drawn illustrations of the product.
With Shopify as the backbone to the website, we’ve designed and built a one-page showcase website that features a full blog as well as a shopping cart, checkout, order management and dispatch system. The website is fully integrated with a payment gateway that allows customers to pay online too. The website allows users to browse the Purple Moose products with ease whether you are on a mobile device or desktop, the experience is smooth clean and concise. You cant help but leave with a few bottles of lovely Welsh gold (or dark stuff).
